Chelsea are close to completing a deal with Inter for young midfielder Cesare Casadei, 90 minutes understand.
Blues owner Todd Boehly has set his sights on recruiting a number of youngsters this summer, including 18-year-old midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka
from Aston Villa for around £20million.
Chukwuemeka was one of the stars of the European Under-19 Championship earlier this summer
and Chelsea are now close to adding another of the tournament's best players in Casadei, whose Italian side lost to England in the semi-finals.
Chelsea have rejected a number of bids for the 19-year-old, but sources have now confirmed within 90 minutes
that they are set to make a bid that will meet Inter's asking price of around €15m.
Casadei could be the only Inter player heading to Stamford Bridge
this summer after manager Simone Inzaghi ruled out selling right-back Denzel Dumfries, who has been identified as competition for current Blues star Reece James.
Inzaghi is determined to keep Dumfries, which has forced Chelsea to consider other options such as Southampton's Kyle Walker-Peters.
