How would you feel if you saw your golf clubs unattended on the tarmac?
That's what happened to Collin Morikawa on Sunday. The two-time major champion was on a plane preparing to travel to Memphis,
Tenn., where he and 124 others will begin the FedEx Cup playoffs Thursday at TPC Southwind on FedEx St. Jude Championship.
. He looked out the window and his clubs, along with two other sets, were sitting alone on the tarmac.
It's not something you want to deal with as someone traveling to play golf on vacation, let alone one of the best golfers in the world looking to compete for one of the sport's biggest prizes.
Morikawa tweeted a photo of the clubs and said they had fallen out of a luggage cart and were sitting there with no one in sight. Fortunately for Morikawa, his clubs hit the mark.
Morikawa is ranked 22nd in the FedEx Cup rankings, putting him in a good position heading into the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta in three weeks
. He has seven top-10 finishes this season, including a tie for second at the Genesis Scottish Open last month.
