Emma Raducana has sent a new message to tennis villain Nick Kyrgios after publicly backing him for Wimbledon 2022.

Kyrgios, who finished runner-up to Novak Djokovic in the men's singles, is a controversial figure who has faced criticism for his antics on and off the court.

During this year's championships, the fiery Aussie called a linesman a "crap", spat at a spectator, faced jeers during an underarm serve, broke Wimbledon's dress code.

He also faces assault charges over an alleged incident with his ex-girlfriend Chiara Passari that occurred in December 2021.

Kyrgios has received support from some players, with men's doubles champion Max Purcell highlighting his charity work through the NK Foundation

British No.1 Raducanu apparently showed her public support for Kyrgios during the tournament by tweeting her initials alongside a magic wand emoji,

The 19-year-old world number 10 has now commented on the tweet and why she posted it.

“He supported me last year after Wimbledon, before the US Open, so the way he was with me, yeah, it was really nice. People definitely want to watch Nick.'
