LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman took to on Wednesday to respond to sweeping changes announced by the PGA Tour that will ensure top players
Norman shared a viral meme in which Monahan fictitiously told Norman, "Hey, can I copy your homework?"
Norman replied,"Sure," "just make it different so it does not seem obvious."Here's the takeaway: Two months after launching, the LIV Tour
The LIV Tour essentially copied the fledgling circuit model with a series of elevated events for massive purses.
"A day late and a dollar short," Norman's caption read. Lee Westwood and Charles Howell III were among those who responded to the LIV boss' post with crying and laughing emojis.
Furthermore, the meme also suggests that under the new structure, Tour players now have it awfully good - and are much less likely to look for alternative options.
And besides, Jordan Spieth said, "I still see a lot of differences, don't I?"It's still 72 holes of competition. It's (mostly) more than 48 player fields. There is no league concept. No shotgun start.
In a drastic change to the Tour schedule, top players will now commit to a minimum of 20 events a year, including a series of 12 elevated events.
