Tommy Fleetwood appears to miss FedExCup playoffs 

Tommy Fleetwood's status for the rest of the season, including the FedExCup Playoffs, is in doubt after the Englishman announced.

Fleetwood has not played since tying for fourth at The Open Championship and since his mother died a week after St. Andrews,

While Fleetwood hasn't specifically said he's skipping the playoffs — he's currently 46th, good enough to qualify for the first two events next week

Fleetwood have had a bounce-back year, climbing back up to 26th in the current world rankings after finishing 40th last year.
