Living tennis legend Serena Williams has teased again that she has yet to play her last competitive match.
Speaking to People's Natasha Dye and TMZ Sports during a recent appearance at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco,
Williams hinted that she could potentially play on one of the sports' biggest stages in 2023."I'm not retired," Williams said at the time.
. "The chances of me coming back are very high. You can come to my house and [see], I have a trial."
Williams announced on August 9 that she was "evolving" from tennis and then appeared to offer an emotional farewell to fans after falling to Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round.
But the 41-year-old said in September that she thought Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady "started a really cool trend" of going away and coming back last winter.
Brady originally retired as an active player on February 1 but confirmed on March 13 that he would play at least one more NFL season.
" Williams added. latest comments about a possible return. "It was like the first day of the rest of my life and I'm enjoying it so far. But I'm still trying to find that balance."
